    1. Thanks so much Andrea. I have sent you an email. Let me know what information you will need. I enjoyed the contest. Thanks again.

  1. I just read your posting about grief. Somehow I missed it before. I enjoyed it and will think about what you wrote as I am a person who loves their animals deeply. Four weeks later I still would rather not drive up my driveway because I am aware that my beloved Luke will not be there to greet me. I have started writing a book about him and have included a few sentences I read somewhere. I will repeat them here. ” Life isn’t for lamenting what you have lost. It is for enjoying what you have ( or had) for however long you got to have it! While it is always terrible to lose those precious to you, it was (or is) far more terrible never to have had them at all.

    1. Hi Ellen,

Thank you so much for sharing. I pray that it will get easier over time to be at your home with all your memories of Luke. I agree wholeheartedly with the sentences you shared. Enjoy the people and things you have while you have them. Thanks again.

  2. I have enjoyed reading the postings on your website. The one about coincidence is my favorite as I recently wrote down a quote I read in a book I was reading. It said that ” coincidence I God ‘s way of remaining anonymous .” Your posting confirmed that thought for me.
I will continue to read your postings. I am not religious but your thoughts are comforting for me. My husband and I had to bury our beloved dog last week. I am one of those people who loves their dog as much as any family member. Maybe one of your future posts will give me some peace of mind. Keep writing…..I will keep reading!

    1. Hi Ellen,

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Your response has inspired me to write a post about the loss of a loved one. I hope that you will be able to find some comfort in it. I will be posting it today.

You have become very special to me. Enjoy your day.

    1. Hi Donna,

Thanks. I miss you, too. I wish we lived closer. I am thankful for the inspiration I had from my cousins growing up. I can still see and hear us gathered together at family reunions singing praises to God. I looked forward to that every time we came to visit. I learned so much from your faithfulness and that of your family. You perservered through so many stuggles, yet always kept your eyes focused on God. You will never know how much that impacted me over the years.

      I love you bunches,
